INBOUND Training Day 2014 – A sneak peak you won’t want to miss!

This guest blog post comes to us from HubSpot Inbound Marketing Professor Jillian Day, who will be our guest at the Pittsburgh HubSpot Users Group (HUG). Read on to learn more about the importance of executing an inbound marketing strategy, the world’s largest inbound marketing conference, INBOUND 2014, and how to get involved with the Pittsburgh HubSpot User Group (HUG).

INBOUND 2014 is quickly approaching and if you know anything about this fast-growing event, I’m sure you are wondering what crazy remarkable things HubSpot Academy is creating for the four-day gathering.  After all, last year we had Arianna Huffington and Seth Godin among our speakers, and One Republic played as well. Lucky for you, here’s a preview of INBOUND 2014!INBOUND 2014

HubSpot Academy, where I work, has as its mission one thing and one thing only – to educate and inspire!   This year at INBOUND, we are delivering four full days of training sessions on the hottest inbound topics and trends: Inbound Content, Inbound Methodology, Inbound Selling and Inbound Websites.

I certainly hope you can join us in person at INBOUND 2014 (registration information is at the end of my blog post), but even if you can’t, let me share some highlights – and give an opportunity to learn more about INBOUND in Pittsburgh!

Inbound Content

Do you have complete buyer personas built out to best practices? (Do you even know what buyer personas are?) Have you mapped out your buyers’ journey? Do you know where the gaps are in your content strategy?  These are all questions you need to ask if you hope to have success online.  If you’ve answered no to any of these questions, our Inbound Content training sessions are for you.  You’ll learn how to brainstorm, use and deliver content to help build a sustainable content machine for your business.

Inbound Methodology

As we define it at HubSpot, the Inbound Methodology has four phases: attract, convert, close and delight. Are your online efforts effectively executing on these inbound basics?   In these sessions at Inbound, we will focus on getting back to the basics and learn the fundamentals of how to use inbound marketing to attract strangers, convert visitors, close leads and delight customers.

Inbound Selling

When you’ve done all this hard work to generate leads from your online efforts, is your sales team making the most of them?  Are they working the leads thoroughly? Are your marketing and sales teams aligned?  If you’re feeling as though you are not closing online your leads into customers at the rates you potentially could be, then these sessions are for you. Learn how to sell more, better and faster with inbound sales.

Inbound Websites

Pittsburgh HUGHow do you use your website to delight everyone from your prospects to your customers? Do you know how typical users navigate through your site? Do you want to be more like Amazon or Netflix?  Website personalization is the way to go. In these sessions, learn how to personalize your website to deliver the right content, to the right people, at the right time.

But wait – there’s more, I’m here to tell you a little secret.  This blog post is just the beginning; come to the Pittsburgh HUG on August 20th for a sneak peak on each individual training session HubSpot Academy is offering at INBOUND 2014.  I’ll be there in person and I’d be delighted to answer any questions you may have as I do my job of educating and inspiring!
