Picture this: You’re the go-to social media guru at your company. You need to be aware of conversations around the company, promote relevant content among your social channels, and report to the higher ups the value of having a social media presence.
Enter, HubSpot’s Social Inbox tool. Your job just got a lot easier.
All of my wildest social media monitoring and publishing dreams came true when I was introduced
to HubSpot’s Social Inbox tool. From monitoring specific streams of topics to scheduling posts across social platforms for the weeks ahead to measuring the analytics and engagement stemming from social outreach, there’s no stopping me when it comes to the potential in HubSpot’s social media tool.
If I had to narrow it down, there are three main reasons why I’ll be using HubSpot for my social media marketing.
MONITOR
The monitoring capabilities are endless.
Let’s monitor our mentions. Check. Let’s monitor our retweets. Check. Let’s monitor the conversation from a specific list of contacts that I’ve identified as particularly important. Check.
HubSpot allows marketers to monitor conversations and engagement on social media in the most customizable way. How do you prefer to monitor conversations and what information is most valuable to you? With HubSpot you can monitor only information that’s relevant to you and your needs. No more sifting through fluff that doesn’t relate to your overall marketing goals.
If you want to monitor a specific set of keywords, while excluding certain words and from certain accounts, only written in a particular language and sent from a particular geographical region, then creating a customizable stream in HubSpot will become your new best friend. Come on, can you even get more customizable than that?
PUBLISH
Another reason I adore HubSpot’s social media tools is for its publishing capabilities. I’m not sure that the publishing tool could get any more user-friendly, as it provides me with everything I need to publish and schedule posts across a variety of platforms in the simplest way possible.
They even provide recommended times for posting. HubSpot, are you trying to do my job FOR me?!
Not to mention, HubSpot users are able to monitor who clicks on links from every individual post. I can’t get over how integrated the tool gets with my existing contacts database. When a person clicks on a link in your social media post, their name, email address, and time clicked gets recorded and placed in your Contacts section.
But wait, there’s more. Users can continue to track when that contact comes back, what they’re clicking on, where their interest lies within your company website— all in a timeline format. Now, we can personalize the buying process around this prospect and their interests.
REACH
If you love numbers as much as I do, then you’ll really love my final reason for why I use HubSpot’s social media tools. The analytics are wonderful.
To be able to view all social media growth and reach across all your social platforms in one screen has been extremely valuable for me and the WordWrite team. We’re able to quickly and easily see the number of people we’re reaching across every social media platform where we have a presence. We’re able to visually compare what social media networks we have a stronger presence on to help determine what’s working for our social media marketing. And we’re able to export that data into reports to make a comparison month over month.
For me, having all of these tools, capabilities, and analytics at my fingertips in the same portal that houses my company website, offers, contacts database, and workflows, just makes the process even easier. I’m not switching from platform to platform or program to program in order to facilitate the facets of my job. I log in to one platform to handle all of my daily responsibilities.
