New Intern Brings Fresh Perspective to WordWrite Communications

WordWrite Communications a strategic communications consulting firm, has added a new member to its team.

Angela Monaco

Angela Monaco, a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, will work as WordWrite’s spring public relations intern. Monaco is pursuing bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and communication, as well as a certificate in public and professional writing. She will assist the WordWrite team in drafting press releases, developing blog posts, managing social media and compiling the monthly newsletter.

“Angela’s enthusiasm and desire to learn make her a great addition to our team,” said Paul Furiga, president and CEO of WordWrite Communications. “We view our internships as mutually beneficial opportunities. We’ll introduce Angela to the world of our proprietary process, “Storycrafting”, and she’ll work with us to develop and implement new strategies for our various clients.”

Monaco brings a fresh perspective to WordWrite, having worked in the communications offices of non-profit and government organizations, like the American Red Cross of Western Pennsylvania, as well as policy and legislative research at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office. She looks forward to using her knowledge of the changing media industry to contribute to WordWrite’s future successes.
