The Pittsburgh chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) has named Rachel Borowski sponsorship chair for 2015.
Borowski, an account executive at WordWrite Communications, will be responsible for outreach to local organizations for sponsorship of PRSA-Pittsburgh, as well as corresponding with current chapter sponsors for branding print and digital materials distributed by the organization
“Not only am I eager to have a stronger role in developing the Pittsburgh chapter of PRSA, but I’m also looking forward to strengthening my local connections in the industry,” said Borowski. “As sponsorship chair, I’ll have the opportunity to reach out to many different organizations with which I may not have prior relationships, and to me, that is really invaluable.”
Borowski graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, Public Relations and a minor in dance. During her time as a student at WVU, she was active in Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and served on the executive board as treasurer.
