Valentine’s Day is a perfect time to celebrate your passion for Pittsburgh

According to a survey from the National Retail Federation, the average person will spend more than $130 on gifts for Valentine’s Day this year. Total spending by those 18 years and older will exceed $17 billion. That’s a lot of candy, dinners, cards and teddy bears.

For those of us who live in Pittsburgh, Valentine’s Day can also serve as a reminder of why we’re so passionate about the place we call home. Looking at the skyline from a restaurant on the top of Mt. Washington is a great reminder of everything the city has to offer.

However, it shouldn’t take a holiday to remind us how much we care about those in our lives. It also shouldn’t take a trip to a fancy restaurant with one of the most picturesque views in the world to make us remember why Pittsburgh is such a great “tahn.”

Now, check out this latest video detailing exactly why we at WordWrite are so passionate about Pittsburgh, and then be sure to tell us why you’re equally enamored with it. Finally, don’t forget to pass the chocolates.
