WordWrite Communications Adds Second Office in Tempe, Arizona

WordWrite Communications, one of the region’s fastest-growing public relations and social media agencies, has added an office in Tempe, Ariz., staffed by longtime agency veteran John Durante.

Durante, marketing services director for WordWrite, is a Pittsburgh-area native who has worked across the country during a career spent in marketing, with stops in Iowa, Colorado, Tennessee and his hometown. In addition to WordWrite, Durante has worked for Frank N. Magid Associates, as vice president for a healthcare system in Des Moines, and at The Fitting Group in Pittsburgh.

“John has been a significant contributor to WordWrite’s growth since he began working with us on development of our proprietary StoryCrafting process several years ago,” said WordWrite President and CEO Paul Furiga. “When John relocated to Arizona a few years ago, we thought his workload might decrease. Instead, his importance to clients and the demands on his time have only grown. John is a key contributor to our client engagements not only in Western Pennsylvania, but to our growing client base in cities including Harrisburg and Louisville.”describe the image

“This is a great opportunity to continue to build on WordWrite’s success,” Durante said. “We’ve demonstrated that our team works well across geography and we’re excited about growing the firm even more by exploring the opportunity to expand our work in other markets.”

Durante is a native of Follansbee, W.Va., and is a graduate of the Washington State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in communication and sociology (1983), and a Master of Arts in sociology (1985). He can be reached at (480) 626-1791 or john.durante@wordwritepr.com.
