WordWrite Communications, a strategic communications consulting firm, has hired Christy Goodman as senior account executive, adding another seasoned professional to one of the region’s fastest-growing public relations firms. 
Goodman will take a lead role in account coordination and the execution of inbound marketing for several clients. She will also handle social media and media relations campaigns, bringing agency and corporate experience to her work.
Most recently, Goodman was a key member of the marketing team at AIReS, a corporate relocation management company based in Pittsburgh, where she led the management of the company’s social media properties, as well as coordinating a variety of corporate events and tradeshow sponsorship opportunities.
Goodman previously worked as an account executive at Gatesman+Dave, where she led the launch and management of social media properties for the Gabriel Brothers and Rugged Wearhouse retail chains. She was also responsible for several national and regional media relations efforts, as well as research projects and pro bono initiatives.
Goodman began her career on the Adobe Digital Imaging team at Edelman’s Silicon Valley office, where she worked on award-winning campaigns in both media relations and social media. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations and a minor in leadership from Franklin College near Indianapolis.
