Pittsburgh, Pa. ― WordWrite Communications has hired Erin O’Connor as an account executive, expanding the agency’s roster of public relations professionals.
In her new role, O’Connor will help lead public relations and social media efforts for several new and existing client accounts. She will also assist in growing WordWrite’s internship program.
Prior to joining the WordWrite team, O’Connor served as public relations account executive at Roberts Communications in Rochester, N.Y., supporting the agency’s technology, health care and financial clients. In addition to her position at Roberts, O’Connor held public relations internship positions at Rochester’s Golisano Children’s Hospital and Dixon Schwabl Advertising, where she handled media outreach, research and event planning.
“Erin’s background in B2B public relations makes her an excellent fit for our team,” said Paul Furiga, president and CEO of WordWrite Communications. “We’re thrilled to have her on board.”
A 2013 graduate of St. John Fisher College, O’Connor received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication/Journalism and a minor in Marketing.
