Rising PR talent joins team to help tell clients’ great, untold stories
PITTSBURGH, Pa., June 4, 2009 — WordWrite Communications, one of Pittsburgh’s fastest growing public relations agencies, has added Deanna Ferrari as account executive.
A resident of Murrysville, Ferrari most recently worked as an assistant account executive at MARC USA in Pittsburgh, where she supported several national consumer accounts and contributed to the implementation of the agency’s first social media initiative for a client. She currently serves on the board of the Pittsburgh chapter of Public Relations Society of America as the Speaker Series chair for 2009.
“We are excited to have Deanna join our team of ‘WordWriters,’” said President and CEO Paul Furiga. “Her experience with not only writing and media relations but with social media will tremendously benefit our agency and our clients.”
Ferrari graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2006. While at Slippery Rock, she was a Dean’s List student and served as editor-in-chief of the communication department newsletter. Ferrari was also active in the school’s chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America and president of the women’s club lacrosse team.
“WordWrite’s approach to StoryCraftingSM and telling its clients’ great, untold stories really sets the agency apart from others,” said Ferrari. “I’m thrilled to be a part of this great team and look forward to applying the WordWrite way of practicing public relations and storytelling.”
