Leader of public relations agency’s healthcare practice has contributed to growth of firm
WEXFORD, Pa., September 14, 2009 —WordWrite Communications, one of the Pittsburgh region’s fastest-growing public relations firms, has promoted Jason Snyder to vice president.
“Since he joined WordWrite, Jason has been instrumental in the growth of our firm,” said WordWrite founder and CEO Paul Furiga. “In particular, Jason has taken the lead in our growing healthcare practice, leveraging his significant experience to bring new clients to WordWrite and to deepen our existing client relationships.”
Snyder, who joined WordWrite in 2006, is a journalism and public relations veteran who came to the agency after stints at Mellon Financial Corporation, Alcoa, Butler Health System and The Oncology Nursing Society.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a degree in journalism, Snyder began his career as a newspaper reporter and worked at the Bedford Gazette, Johnstown Tribune-Democrat and Butler Eagle.
“I’m proud to be named vice president, and I’m honored to work with such a talented team at WordWrite,” Snyder said. “We’ve grown significantly each year since the company was formed, because we provide public relations that help our clients grow. Whether helping them overcome serious business challenges or proactively telling their great, untold stories, we provide effective business results through public relations that are unmatched. It’s very exciting to be part of that.”
