Jason Snyder, vice president of WordWrite Communications, was recently appointed to the board of directors of Gateway Rehabilitation Center.Founded in 1972 by internationally renowned author and physician Abraham Twerski, Gateway is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping all people affected by addictive diseases to become healthy of body, mind and spirit.

“I’m honored to become part of Gateway,” Snyder said. “The board, executive leadership and staff are dedicated, highly talented people who believe in Gateway’s mission and are making a difference in those they serve.
“Having watched drug addiction take both of my brothers’ lives, I understand how devastating the disease is. But addiction doesn’t have to have a sad ending. There is hope, and recovery is possible. I believe in Gateway’s mission and am excited to be part of the great things Gateway is doing.”
As a board member, Snyder is charged with ensuring Gateway remains focused on fulfilling its mission and that the organization is acting in a fiscally responsible way in support of that mission.
