WordWrite Communications’ Vice President Joins Circle C Youth and Family Services Board

Hollie Geitner, vice president of client services at WordWrite Communications, was recently appointed to the board of directors of Circle C Youth and Family Services. “I’m honored to join the Circle C board and to work alongside the amazing people who are making a difference for so many children and teens who have experienced difficult times,” said Geitner. “I’m looking forward to helping carry forward Circle C’s mission of creating and sustaining a foundation of family and community so these youths can achieve their dreams even though their path in life may have taken a different turn.”

As a board member, Geitner will help develop and oversee initiatives to extend Circle C’s visibility within the communities it serves, including helping with special events and fundraising activities. Geitner’s 16 years of public relations and marketing experience in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors have prepared her well for her new role with Circle C.

As WordWrite’s vice president of client services, Geitner manages several client accounts, planning and executing communication strategies unique to each client. Before joining WordWrite, Geitner worked as vice president of marketing and communications at the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP), during which time she contributed to the planning of premier Pittsburgh events, including the G-20 Pittsburgh Summit in 2009. She also previously worked in the corporate communications departments at Allegheny Energy and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.
