WordWrite Communications, one of Pittsburgh’s fastest growing public relations and social media firms, announced University of Pittsburgh senior Caia Caldwell has been hired as a fall intern.
Caldwell, a double major in English writing and political science, has experience editing, researching, writing and working in the media field. A former newspaper intern, she is excited to learn the art of WordWrite’s proprietary public relation method, “StoryCrafting” by working closely with senior staff. Other assignments include drafting press releases, working with social media and helping coordinate and execute plans for upcoming events.

This year Caldwell is serving as the president of her political science honors society, Pi Sigma Alpha. She also organizes events as the social chair of the service club Circle K, and works as a copy editor at The Pitt News. She has previously worked at The Evening Sun newspaper in Hanover, Pa, and State Representative Will Tallman’s district office.
