WordWrite PR SAE, Slippery Rock Alum featured in SRU Newsletter

Deanna Ferrari, senior account executive and resident social media expert at WordWrite Communications, was recently featured in The Receiver, Slippery Rock University‘s newsletter for the Slippery Rock Communication Department, its students and alumni.

Deanna is a 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock, and the university was proud to share Deanna’s professional accomplishments in the Where Are They Now section of its quarterly newsletter. Deanna discusses how Slippery Rock helped prepare her for her career, her use of social media in her position at WordWrite, and advice for current students.

Deanna was the former editor-in-cheif of The Receiver, and she continues to take an active role in working with students and universities to offer guidance for students in the public relations and communications fields.

Today, Deanna serves as the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Professional Advisor for the Clarion University chapter. She has given various presentations to university students hoping to achieve a career in communications, including a very popular presentation to Clarion University students called “How NOT To Get a Job After Graduation (and how to use social media to help you get one),” which has been shared on WordPress, WordWrite Communications SlideShare page, and on WordWrite Communications’ Education and Internships page.
