There’s been a lot of debate regarding McDonald’s response to Charles Ramsay, a Cleveland resident who helped three kidnapping victims escape. Ramsay was eating McDonald’s when he was helping the victims and McDonald’s reached out to say thank-you.  Skeptics believe their outreach was actually a publicity stunt and in poor taste.
