WordWrite Weekly Wrap – Worst Words Edition

We recognize many of you probably had eggnog on your brain this week and scanning your social accounts for great content wasn’t a main priority. social media wrapAn A to Z Guide to 2012’s Worst Words

The Atlantic Wire

From selfies to epic, jeah and YOLO this list has something to accommodate anyone’s thoughts of disdain. Every year new words are introduced to society and we all go through the same process of trying them out until they are so overused they become extinct (hopefully) and end up on lists like this. ‘Worst job posting’ ever draws flood of applicants

PR Daily

This posting for an internship was deemed the “worst job posting ever.” If you’ve got family obligations, forget about it. Want vacation time? Don’t even think of sending your materials. Mister Rogers and Newtown: Quote and image goes viral

The Washington Post, Style Blog

It’s been just over a week since the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. Even though time has passed many are still struggling to explain the unexplainable event that took place Dec. 14. One vision of hope that many used to cope is this image of Mister Rogers along with a quote from the children’s television host. The picture was taken by Jim Judkis, a Pittsburgh-area photographer who, we’re proud to say, we have had the pleasure to work with over the last several years.

And that’s a wrap! What’d you think? Was your favorite story of the week not included? Let us know about it in the comments and tell us why you thought it was great. We know the last thing you’re going to be worried about this week, when you’ve got a belly full of roast beast, is reading the great blogs and articles that are surfacing on social media. You can rest assured, we’ve got you covered.
