Bernat, a senior at Penn State, to be the next great intern for summer 2010
WordWrite Communications, one of Pittsburgh’s fastest growing public relations agencies, recently selected Anna Bernat, a senior at Penn State University, to be its next great intern for the summer of 2010.

Through her internship at WordWrite, Bernat will experience different aspects of public relations. As part of her day-to-day tasks, she will be assisting with research, media monitoring, media relations, and social media.
“Anna is exactly what we were looking for—creative, enthusiastic, detail-oriented,” said Paul Furiga, founder and president of WordWrite Communications. “She has a good knowledge base and I am confident we will be able to grow and refine her abilities.”
Most recently, Bernat interned at the Downtown State College Improvement District. She also worked on a national book promotion campaign for Mothers of Supertwins (MOST) during April 2009.
Bernat is a dual major in public relations and history with a minor in Spanish. At Penn State, she is a Dean’s List student, member of the Public Relations Student Society of America, Spanish Club, peer mentor, and Phi Alpha Theta, the undergraduate history honor society.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to intern with WordWrite Communications,” said Bernat. “With all that I have learned about the firm, I am confident that this will be a valuable experience, and I look forward to spending the summer working under the WordWrite team.”
