Tara works with WordWrite clients to determine the proper mix of content to best share their stories, strategize on the right messaging, and identify the best audiences. Along with managing content creation efforts, she is heavily involved in our StoryCrafting process.
Tara joined WordWrite in 2023, after running her own copywriting business, A Passion For The Pen, for over a decade. She helped clients in the coaching, consulting, financial, wellness and legal industries create engaging and compelling copy to move their brands forward. With specialized experience in direct response copy, she has worked on hundreds of websites, as well as developed sales pages, email campaigns, newsletters, articles, lead magnets and social media captions, along with various other promotional material.
She is the former host of a writing podcast and creator of writing courses under her Let’s Meet For Copy® brand. Prior to running her own business, she worked in internal marketing and PR in both the wedding industry and for a post-secondary institution.
Tara graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Mass Communication and a B.A. in Advertising and PR.
Outside of work, you can find her working on her novel, antique shopping to add to her vintage typewriter collection, watching football, drinking coffee or spending time in the City with her husband and two sons. She prefers pen and paper to a screen, is the first (and last) person on any dance floor and loves to make people laugh.
THREE THINGS THAT MIGHT SURPRISE YOU

There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.
