PITTSBURGH (December 11, 2019) - WordWrite recently received three awards for its outstanding work for Waldron Private Wealth, Caliente Pizza and Draft House and The Pittsburgh 100.
On Tuesday, December 3, our team was presented with an award for Financial Services Marketing at the 2019 Marketer of the Year Awards ceremony presented by the American Marketing Association (AMA) of Pittsburgh. Through a traditional public relations strategy, we were able to increase Waldron Private Wealth’s thought leadership by securing 118 placements in one year. The firm was ecstatic when that work lead to new business opportunities, including working with two new clients. Check out the case study.
WordWrite also accepted two Diamond awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) East Central District for their transformative work with The Pittsburgh 100 and Caliente Pizza and Draft House. The Diamond awards are awarded to agencies who use brilliancy to execute their PR tactics while facing a challenge or setback.
In 2017, WordWrite created its own digital newsroom: The Pittsburgh 100. A bi-weekly newsletter sharing 100-word stories reaches 41,000 subscribers on all digital levels including an interactive website, social media and podcast. For Caliente Pizza and Draft House, the team helped the restaurant rebuild trust and reputation with a media relations strategy that secured 92 positive news stories. Caliente’s sales increased nearly 40%, surpassing its 2018 sales.
“We pride ourselves on the quality of work that we provide for our clients and receiving recognition for our work in the form of such a prestigious award is something we truly appreciate,” said WordWrite President Paul Furiga.
