WordWrite Welcomes Summer Intern in New Downtown Office Space

Pittsburgh (June 17, 2019) – WordWrite’s newest hire is a talented student from Point Park University. Meet Kayla Snyder, WordWrite’s summer intern.

Snyder is currently a junior studying public relations and advertising. She serves on the executive board of Point Park’s chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), taking on the role of vice president next semester. During her summer at WordWrite, Snyder will learn the ins and outs of a fast-paced public relations agency including media relations, digital media and client services.

“Everyone at WordWrite takes part in sharing our clients’ stories, including our interns,” said Paul Furiga, WordWrite president and chief storyteller. “Our internship program provides students the opportunity to gain relevant agency experience, grow media relationships and learn how to build client relationships. We were impressed by Kayla’s passion to learn more about the industry – we’re excited to be the next part of her professional journey.”

WordWrite, started by Furiga in 2002, has grown into one of the 10 highest grossing public relations agencies in the Pittsburgh region with an average yearly growth of 15%. In 2017 alone, WordWrite grew 46%, ranking among the top five fastest-growing public relations agencies nationally by O’Dwyer’s National PR Agency Rankings in 2018.

Focused on helping clients discover and share their Capital “S” story for the past 17 years, WordWrite has advised companies across multiple industries and has become a pillar in the Pittsburgh public relations landscape.
