WordWrite receives regional award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)

Pittsburgh (Oct. 4, 2019) – Adding yet another award to its shelves, WordWrite earned a regional award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), a global professional communications network, for its successful work with a Pittsburgh-area private wealth firm.

The independent public relations agency received the IABC Heritage Region Silver Quill Award of Excellence, which recognizes agencies in the northeast that demonstrated excellence in communication management. All entries were judged by two communication professionals who used the IABC’s seven-point scale of excellence to rank them.

WordWrite’s winning submission took a deep dive into how it used modern digital marketing practices to inform traditional public relations strategies, all in an effort to broaden reach and increase opportunities for Waldron Private Wealth. Focusing on Waldron’s key audience — individuals and families with great wealth — WordWrite used customer surveys and research to reveal their interests and media habits.

With those findings, WordWrite helped secure over 118 media placements within one year, and Waldron’s experts appeared in top publications such as The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. On top of this, WordWrite also facilitated an earned media opportunity with Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, with two of Waldron’s advisors now writing monthly columns for the publication.
